The Space
West Events is one of the few remaining mid-century buildings along the Gulf Coast, making it a unique and beautiful location. We have incorporated modern design and versatility to offer guests the perfect event experience. Our space offers polished concrete floors, 15-foot exposed beams, original mid-century exposed brick walls, industrial lighting, TVs for video presentations, and plenty of electrical outlets.
The Blue Ribbon Room
The Blue Ribbon Room is our main hall, and can seat up to 200 guests. It is perfect for all kinds of events such as cocktail receptions, parties, and corporate events and seminars. The open floor plan allows for a variety of layouts from elaborate staging to subtle decoration. The name of this room honors its history, as it was originally The Blue Ribbon Laundry.
West Bar and Terrace
Our space also includes the West Bar and Terrace, which can host 125 guests. It is perfect for cocktail hours, wedding ceremonies, and more. This is an indoor/outdoor space which is great for mingling and light conversation. Surrounded by a lush bamboo privacy wall, the terrace welcomes guests to step outside, relish the ocean air, and replenish their beverage of choice from our outdoor bar service.
The West Wing
The West Wing of our building offers a more intimate space for up to 75 guests, and lends itself to a wide variety of uses, such as private dinners, pop-up galleries, and breakout sessions. The West Wing offers the same industrial-chic, open-floor plan option as our Blue Ribbon Room but on a smaller scale. Just as versatile as our larger space, this room offers a wide range of possibilities!
Location
Madeira Beach is known for its gorgeous white sands, crystal blue waters, and stunning views. West Events is steps away from the beach, and just a short drive from St. Pete. Additionally, it is less than an hour from Tampa and Clearwater airports, making it easy to travel to. On-site parking is available, and John’s Pass is within walking distance.
Amenities
Our facility offers tons of amenities, such as a wrap-around indoor/outdoor bar, open terrace with bamboo barriers for privacy, open floor plan, and a wide variety of catering options. Plus, the facility is fully ADA accessible. Tables and chairs are included in the base rentals, as well as an onsite kitchen prep area. WiFi access is provided throughout the venue, as well as an ambient sound system. Microphones, projection screens, and TVs are all available for presentations, seminars, and speeches. Basically, anything you need for a big event, we have it available!
